Collectible Concepts Group, Inc. (CCGI) announced today that it has begun an extensive upgrade to its internal IT systems. "The expansion of our business has created a demand for more extensive information technology resources than we have had in the past," said Paul S. Lipschutz, CCGI President. "We have added several new sales and marketing personnel to our ranks in order to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the recent addition of Brax 3D products and our American Sports Ventures JV with Gridworks, Inc.," said Lipschutz. "At out corporate offices, we added several new workstations and upgraded our LAN and are installing new and more powerful servers to accommodate the increased activity created by the growth of our business," he said.

"Additionally, we have placed our entire inside and outside sales force on the ACT Contact & Customer Management System to provide better coordination and add important structure to our sales activities. By introducing this Web-enabled application our sales personnel now have remote access to our central data bases as well as key updates and current information via the Internet," Lipschutz said.
