Collectible Concepts Group Looks "Hot" for 2006 Championships
Collectible Concepts Group (CCNG)announced today that it will focus on hot merchandise for the January 8, 2007 football game in which the Florida Gators take on the Ohio State Buckeyes for the highly anticipated, nationally televised Tostitos BCS Championship Game. The Company's new products focused on this game are unique and truly one of a kind.
The Collectible Concepts Group 2006 Championship merchandise will consist of a championship-engraved football, a multi-purpose desk valet, bamboo cutting boards and a wooden drinking stein. The laser-engraved two-toned bamboo cutting boards are available in three sizes: small 8"x6", medium 13 1/2"x6", and a large bread board size measuring 16"x6".
The 2006 Championship canisters are available in a three-piece set. The large canister will also be available separately. The Company's 2006 Championship desk valet is a versatile item that can be an office accent or a jewelry box. The drinking stein is only available as an exclusive Championship item. All Championship products are laser-engraved with the winning team logo, and BCS Championship game logo. Production of these hot market items will start as soon as the winner of the game is determined.
Collectible Concepts Group will also add a new Super Bowl football and other
Super Bowl Championship hot market products, such as the cutting boards, and
desk valets at the conclusion of this year's professional football season, through
a joint venture agreement (established April 30, 2006) with Gridworks, Inc.
of Elgin, Iowa. Under the agreement, a new corporation called American Sports
Ventures, Inc. was created to produce and market licensed high-quality wood
sports collectibles.
Last year Collectible Concepts Group had tremendous, hot market
success, as there were over two thousand Super Bowl XL footballs sold and the
Company is expanding the hot market product line based on its success last year.
